GST Return Filing Services
GST compliance is a recurring legal obligation for all registered businesses. It involves the timely and accurate filing of various returns detailing a company’s sales, purchases, and tax liability. A GST return is an official document filed with tax authorities containing this information.
Who Should File GST Returns?
All business entities registered under the GST Act are required to file GST returns, even if there are no transactions (a Nil return must be filed).
Common Types of GST Returns:
- GSTR-1: A monthly or quarterly return detailing all outward supplies (sales).
- GSTR-3B: A monthly summary return used to declare and pay the net GST liability.
- GSTR-9: The annual return, consolidating all returns filed during the financial year.
- CMP-08: A quarterly statement for taxpayers under the Composition Scheme.
How to Activate a Cancelled GST Registration:
A taxpayer whose registration has been cancelled can apply for its revocation by filing Form GST REG-21 within 30 days of the cancellation order. All overdue returns must be filed and pending taxes paid before the application can be submitted.

How many GST returns do I need to file?
A regular taxpayer typically files GSTR-1 (monthly or quarterly) for sales and GSTR-3B (monthly) for a summary of sales and tax payment. An annual return (GSTR-9) is also required.
What are the deadlines for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B?
For monthly filers, the GSTR-1 deadline is the 11th of the next month, and GSTR-3B is the 20th. Deadlines for quarterly filers (QRMP scheme) are different.
What if I have no sales in a month (Nil Return)?
You must still file a “Nil Return” for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. Failure to file, even a Nil return, will result in late fees and penalties.
What is GSTR-2A / GSTR-2B?
These are auto-populated, read-only statements. GSTR-2B provides a summary of your eligible Input Tax Credit (ITC) for the month, based on the GSTR-1 filed by your suppliers.
